It's a boy!!

Announcing the arrival of Brayden Alan Beck! He was born on 5/28/2009 at 7:27pm weighing 7lbs 11oz and measuring 20.5 inches.


We are glowing parents this morning with such a wonderful blessing in our lives. Mama and baby are doing great. Nicole was an absolute rockstar through this entire experience and has impressed me every step of the way. Brayden has done really well and is already showing signs of a trucker sized appetite like dad.

Wow...what a day. It all started at 7am when we were scheduled for an induction. Mom was ready to meet our bundle of joy.

Nicole and Brayden progressed very well throughout the day. Everything was going smoothly when Nicole started pushing at 6:30pm. After about 45mins, Nicole started running a mild fever and the nurse was slightly concerned with Brayden's heart rate response to Nicole's pushing. The next 15mins were surreal.....The delivery crew did a great job of moving quickly to delivery Brayden naturally. It was the ultimate joy to hear Brayden came out crying and looking healthy! Mama was glowing when she got a chance to hold our little blessing.


(Don't be alarmed with the redness around his eye. That was due to the forceps and is almost completely gone already)

Nicole and I love each moment we get to spend with him and look forward to going home on Saturday. Will keep you posted with updates and more pictures of Brayden.
